I make several other non-customized memorial gifts, some intended for sympathy and remembrance, and some simply as gifts for animal lovers than can be used as remembrances.
Non-customized Memorial Gifts
I design, make and sell many different gift items featuring my artwork and photography—that’s how the votives came to be. I customize a few of those items, but people have also purchased the non-customized gifts to use a remembrances as well.

Love Never Ends Votive
I offer a Love Never Ends Votive which includes the “rainbow clouds” background and simple, sincere, phrase. It can be a complement to other remembrance gifts, or for a person who has a pet memorial garden, or who has lost several pets, to display in collective honor. I make this votive in quantity and so they can be ordered in quantity. It coordinates with other goods related to the votives.

I also offer a Love Never Ends garden flag that is not customized. I Will Always Walk With You Pet Remembrance Gift
This is based on the design of one of my Animal Sympathy Cards, one of three in the dozen that are non-species-specific, so can be used for any pet with paws; in some cases those distinctive pawprints stand for animals in general.
It’s made of a cradled wood panel with the image on top and a combination of finishes around the sides to coordinate with the image and appear like stone. The size is 5″ x 7″ x 1.5″.
It serves a double purpose: as a decorative item or a sort of keepsake that can hold a pet’s cremains contained in a bag along with keepsake items.
I make it with a bottom panel that adheres with Velcro, strong enough to hold things inside but not a tight enough fit for loose cremains like an urn. This can sit on a table or shelf flat or up on its bottom edge.
Without the base panel, because of the “cradles”, or wooden frame backing that forms the sides, it can also hang on the wall.
Silhouette at the Window Votive Lamp
A contemplative kitty sits quietly, looking out the window at the day.
Silhouette at the Window Votive Lamp is a particular shape of upcycled jar, frosted outside with a black cut vinyl design and black glass paint embellishment, and offered in clear white or with blue, green or yellow transparent glass paint interior. All votive lamps come with a string of LED lights with a six-hour timer.
Other Gift Items
Because of my decades of cat rescue and foster, my portfolio tends to be heavy on feline images. I don’t dislike dogs at all, but I found felines visually inspiring long before I was an artist, that’s continued all my life, and I take great joy in creating their image. I also know that there are other artists out there who love dogs and creating dog art as much as I love cats and cat art. I prefer to leave the joy of dogs to them, knowing it gives them the same satisfaction the joy of cats brings to me. That said, a few of my portrait customers have given me permission to work with their dogs’ portraits, or with some of the photos I’ve taken of other dogs, and I do have some dog art planned. Feline Garden Flags
Speaking of garden flags, I have a line of feline garden flags using my artwork, if purchasing a flag that resembles the feline in question is more appropriate, or you’d just like to give a customer a gift. I print them in smaller quantities so that I can maintain a large variety of designs. I try to keep a selection of different coat colors and patterns and styles in stock. Great Rescues Day Book
Great Rescues Day Book is an undated month-by-month day book to record the birthdays, anniversaries, holidays and social and personal events in your life, including the comings and goings of your animal companions. Each month features a portrait of a rescued cat or cats along with their rescue story, plus a few more portraits, health and welfare information about cats, and notepaper patterned with the portraits in the book. It’s spiral-bound and measures 8″ x 10″ to easily fit on a desk or in a purse, briefcase or backpack.

Other gift items used as remembrances
Above, a recent selection of keepsake boxes made from vintage cigar boxes in various states of wear and tear. Each one is unique, and I always make sure I have a big selection of feline artwork because they are popular as “urns” as well as gift boxes.
Suncatchers are made with upcycled metal photo frames and the same labels I use for my votives, and I use old jewelry to suspend them.
